What it does
WeSpy is a mobile app where users play a daily AI identification game to earn both points on a reward-based system and a “streaks day” system to keep a digital pet alive. The app provides a community space where users can post, comment and vote on people’s uploaded media to work together to distinguish if the content is real or fake.
How we built it
This project initially started with brainstorming potential ideas and features to have a basis for secondary research. This was then followed up by primary research to not only gain insights on the end-user but also check if the potential idea fit with the user’s needs. Based on this research, we were able to narrow down our idea. This was then further refined by using the mentor’s feedback, allowing us to start with the concept sketches and user flow. These multiple sketches were then combined to create a low-fidelity prototype on Figma, which was used to gain user feedback on. Since we were still in the early stages of prototyping, we were able to quickly update one of our features based on this feedback. Afterwards, we developed the high-fidelity prototype that closely resembles our final design.
Challenges we ran into
Constantly changing our ideas and time constraints
