NeoPark is a smart parking gate prototype that I designed and built using an Arduino Mega 2560 to demonstrate how automation and embedded systems can improve parking management. The system combines RFID authentication, infrared (IR) vehicle detection sensors, a servo-controlled gate, and a 16×2 LCD display to create a realistic automated parking entrance.

When a vehicle approaches, the first IR sensor detects its presence and prompts the driver to tap an authorized RFID card. If the RFID credential is verified, the servo motor raises the gate, allowing the vehicle to enter. A second IR sensor detects when the vehicle has passed and automatically lowers the gate after a short delay. The system also tracks available parking spaces and displays real-time information on the LCD screen.

Through NeoPark, I gained hands-on experience with embedded systems, Arduino programming (C++), sensor integration, RFID technology, hardware prototyping, circuit design, debugging, and system integration. The project strengthened my understanding of how software and hardware work together to create reliable, real-world automation solutions.
