Inspiration
We were inspired by the problems we faced while trying to buy furniture in India and not being able to visualise how it will look exactly in our home
What it does
we built a product which aims to help businesses place their products in any user environments and at the same time helping users to visualise these products to help in the sales conversion.
How we built it
We used open source Generative AI models and fine tuned it on countless furniture items to get great results consistently. Then used Wix to make the front end for this.
Challenges we ran into
The backend team was there since start but a front end guy ditched us in the middle so we faced some challenges in finding a new team mate for front end.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are incubated by DLab run by university of Amsterdam and also by New Native
What we learned
A lot about team management, working in 3 different timezones and building a cool product while also building solid friendships
What's next for NeoLocus
Aiming to raise a funding round since we already have interest from our first users and institutions
