This cooperative is based on two major findings. The first is the lack of agility of our distribution network during the crisis. This deficiency led us to numerous shortages, even though we never really ran out of any product.
The second observation is the importance of the waste produced by the packaging of the distribution channels.
A second idea emmerged, which was to create in the heart of our cities, at our doorstep, areas where consumer and producers would work together. Where raw materials such as wheat or olives will be processed directly, thus eliminating the entire distribution chain and reducing the waste and emissions of current channels.
One of the main challenge was to make those cooperatives attractive to consumers. That is why NeoCoop' includes a sports hall open to the public and entirely free of charge. Its equipment enables the generation of electricity which will then be redistributed to mills and other processing machines.
