Wanted to solve the problem of third party ticket exchanges for the problem of fraud and exchange fees. We also wanted to improve free event attendance by putting skin in the game by staking gas for events. Smart contracts would be used to allow an escrow of the transaction of gas for tickets without the need for an intermediary.
