Inspiration

This all started with my new year resolution of being more sustainable. Then I came up with this idea of making this website with Sustainability and Upcycling at its core.

What it does

Neko is an AI-powered upcycling assistant that transforms waste into creativity! Just snap a picture or enter an item’s name, and it suggests practical, stylish, and sustainable ways to repurpose it—tailored to your style.

Challenges we ran into

My journey was mostly about being lost, everywhere, anywhere. It was kinda easy because all had to do was hugging face api, but I didn't know how to, and obviously chatgpt, cursor, gemini, vercel, my brain(didn't help much), I used them all, somehow was able to make it at the end. Now I feel accomplished and feel like I can make more stuff

The final product i was able to make is something that makes me feel like i could do a little more towards the world.
