Inspiration

there are a lot of potential buyers and sellers just around our neighborhood but small-scale sellers do not get the opportunity to advertise since they operate in a small area mostly in their homes

What it does

neighbour hood app connects people in a neighborhood, and enables small-scale businesses to scale.

How we built it

I used Flutter, Python, and Postgres to build the app, I used Dalle API since Google did not give me access to Imagen AI API but the flow is very similar, however was able to use Tensoflow to remove background or images. All the payments are made with the help of square APIs.

Challenges we ran into

I did not have enough funds and time to get the terminal device to fully test the flow. so only proof of concept is submitted as a video.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to build a working prototype and proof of concept

What we learned

I learned how square payment APIs work. also got to know all the current AI capabilities of Google

What's next for neighbour hood

neighbour hood has a long way to go and a wide range of possibilities.
