Inspiration

Trips to Home Depot for a simple screwdriver or different-sized wrench are never fun. We wanted to provide a software solution where neighbors can easily request items or services and have them provided by other neighbors.

What it does

Provide a software solution that allows neighbors to provide each other with commonly needed tools/services that they might not always have on hand.

How we built it

Using the React framework, mongoose, express, and coors.

Challenges we ran into

Developing an efficient front end design and robust api's.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A presentable ui, data storage solution through mongodb, and robust api creation.

What we learned

Making full-stack solutions are no easy feat. Efficient communication and teamwork is vital to making efficient progress. Another crucial mistake we make was not having everyone's environment's setup and ready to go prior to the hackathon
