Inspiration
I was inspired by a platform called MealTrain, which helped one of my friends during a difficult time allowing friends and family to supply food.
What it does
It provides a platform allowing people to signup to provide meals and services regarding food to FGLI students.
How we built it
We built it using Node.js and html.
Challenges we ran into
Learning Node.js and web development as a whole. I am a beginner web developer, and I encountered many challenges along the way, but I read a lot and eventually was able to get a working website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learning web development.
What we learned
HTML, CSS and how to deploy an application. I also learned various skills, like never giving up and persevering even when code goes wrong.
What's next for NeighborNourish
Probably making the platform more functional and creating databases for everyone to be able to Login and Signup. I also want to allow people to be able to use it based on region
