Inspiration

I have inspired the quote "you are a product of your environment". However many people who move across countries aren't aware of the best Neighborhoods that can provide and growth and a positive lifestyle. I wanted to create Applications that help immigrants find the best place to live based on their needs without knowing local information.

What it does

The Web Application gives important information about Neighborhoods that help immigrants make an informed decision about their new life.

How we built it

I built the app using React, Javascript, Google Maps API and the React Google Library. I started with the backend using Google Maps API and the React Google Library and then moved on to the front end using React and Javascript.

Challenges we ran into

  • Creating Clickable Polygons. -Time Management.
  • Proper positioning.
  • Organize Loads of Data into multiple Info windows.
  • Trying to find good documentation for React Library.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating Clickable Polygons. Finishing up Data Collection, and organization using a hashmap. Learning to implement more Google-based API features. Organized Loads of Data into multiple Info windows.
