Inspiration
During this unprecedented time, shopping has become unsafe for the elderly. Yet, some of the elderly live alone and have no choice but to expose themselves to COVID-19 by going to stores. Services like Google Express and Prime Now have become more and more prominent during this time and often suffer overuse.
What it does
Our application makes it easy for users to access a single app with a versatile UI to communicate with their neighborhood so only one person has to shop for items. Rather than everyone in the neighborhood going for their supplies, people in the neighborhood could take turns and step in to help the elderly.
How we built it
We build our application using Firebase, react-native, react, and Xcode.
Challenges we ran into
We realized that our project was pretty large scale and will require more work past TitanHacks. We also had trouble coming up with ideas.
