What it does

Needy P.E.T.S. is an AR experience where players throw special treats at a pet home (a cat tree or doghouse) to keep swarms of robot cats and robot dogs happy!

How we built it

Built in Unity for ARKit. Assets created in Maya, Sketch, and Photoshop

Andy Romine
I came from Vancouver with an Ipad Pro and the original concept of a projectile game in Augmented Reality.

I put the team together to have an awesome skilled group of people having fun all weekend.

I tried to help focusing on the concepts, story and product, also managing communication in the team and bringing food when members get despaired at their desk late in the morning.

I also learned how to wipe white boards used with sharpies.

I help on putting the game on the ipad and tried to sell it to street passers-by. I was selling Ipads.

David F Durand
I worked on pulling together all the Unity3D game scripts for projectile behaviours and interactions.

Robert Olson
I did concept design and built models.

Jeff Lewis
I designed the 2d interface elements and screens for the game, and ran testing and iterations on these designs to improve the game usability and experience.
