Inspiration
The rapid development of Web3 technology is remarkable, but it is also leading to greater fragmentation across blockchain networks, complicating the user experience and creating higher barriers to entry. Chain abstraction has emerged as a crucial solution, offering a unified interface that simplifies navigation across different blockchains, thereby enabling smoother interaction with decentralized applications (dApps).
What it does
Chain Abstraction allows even more significant simplification and standardization across blockchain interactions. Due to this advanced feature, users can deposit digital assets as collateral on one blockchain and borrow against them on another, promoting smooth capital movement and enhanced financial flexibility.
How we built it
Users can deposit BTC on Bitcoin Network as collateral and borrow against them on Near Protocol.
What's next for Nearlend DAO
Deposit/withdraw interactions from NEAR accounts to blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum, …)
Burrow/Redeem interactions from NEAR accounts to blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum, …)
Integrate price oracle and interest calculation system.
Reward pools on Near Protocol
