Inspiration

The world of DeFi offers countless yield-generating opportunities, but navigating through different protocols, assessing risks, and optimizing allocations can be overwhelming. We wanted to simplify this process by leveraging AI to automate and optimize portfolio management on the NEAR Protocol. Our goal was to create a seamless experience for users to maximize their returns while maintaining their preferred risk tolerance.

What it does

NEAR AI Yield Agent is an AI-powered DeFi portfolio optimization platform that:

• Analyzes multiple NEAR-based DeFi protocols to find the best yield opportunities
  
• Provides AI-driven portfolio allocation strategies based on user-defined risk profiles
  
• Supports multi-wallet connectivity, including NEAR Wallet and MetaMask
  
• Offers real-time portfolio tracking and performance monitoring
  
• Enables automated rebalancing based on AI recommendations
  

How we built it

We developed the platform using:

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS for a sleek and responsive UI
  
• Blockchain Integration: NEAR API JS, Web3.js, Ethers.js for wallet connectivity and smart contract interactions
  
• Data Visualization: Recharts for interactive charts and portfolio insights
  
• State Management: Zustand for efficient global state management
  
• AI Optimization: Custom AI models for risk assessment and portfolio allocation
  

Challenges we ran into

• AI Strategy Implementation: Finding the right approach to optimize DeFi yields while considering risk factors was challenging.
