Inspiration

The inspiration for Near Multichain Hub came from the growing complexity of the blockchain ecosystem. As more chains and networks emerge, users face increasing difficulty in managing multiple accounts and navigating between different blockchains.

We envisioned a solution that would simplify this process, allowing users to interact with various chains using a single, familiar account.

What it does

Near Multichain Hub is platform that enables seamless interaction with multiple EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible blockchains using a single NEAR account.

It provides a streamlined interface for managing multi-chain operations, reducing complexity for both developers and end-users.

How we built it

We built Near Multichain Hub by leveraging the following technologies and approaches

  • NEAR Protocol: Utilized NEAR's infrastructure as the base layer for account management
  • Web3 Integration: Used Web3 libraries to interact with different EVM chains' RPC endpoints.
  • User Interface: Created a user-friendly interface using modern web technologies (possibly including Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS) to provide a seamless experience for users.

Challenges we ran into

  • Ensuring compatibility with various EVM chains, each with its own peculiarities, demanded extensive testing and adaptation.
  • Designing a system that could efficiently handle interactions with multiple chains simultaneously proved challenging.
  • Developing a system to handle gas fees across different networks efficiently was tricky.

What's next for Near Multichain Hub

  • Expanded Chain Support: Adding compatibility with more EVM and non-EVM chains to increase the platform's versatility.
  • Implementing advanced features like cross-chain swaps and multi-chain yield farming.
  • Developer SDK: Creating a comprehensive SDK to allow developers to easily integrate Near Multichain Hub into their applications. Performance Optimization: Continuously improving the system's efficiency and transaction speeds.
