Consumers are introduced to new entertainment content using Oculus Rift. The store's environment adapts depending upon the genre and film being considered.

Inspiration

Current platforms to stream and purchase content are not engaging during the content discovery journey.

How it works

Using an Oculus Rift the user is taken through a virtual reality video store.

Users' decisions on the genre of content they're looking for leads them to take different journey paths through the store.

Each genre-based area of the store is a unique environment which is based up on the genre's subject material. The environments are further segmented into individual areas where films are situated, the local area around each film is further enriched with assets that are related to the film itself.

Each film asset is enriched with data which is pulled from Rovi.
