NBA Player Heatmaps and Action Prediction with NN

Inspiration

We love basketball!

What it does

Generates a heatmap for different types of shots for all players in the NBA and then uses inputs like player locations and ball locations and hoop proximity and average position of each team to predict what action the player will take.

How we built it

We used python.

What's next for NBA Player Heatmaps and Action Prediction with NN

We will continue to refine and enhance our algorithm and develop this into a full fledged solution for the Dallas Mavericks
