Inspiration

Food spoilage is one of the major causes of global lack of food. Storage and transportation conditions are critical to food industry and retailing. We want to solve these problems by using NB-IoT with different sensors to detect ambient conditions for food.

What it does

To detect and monitor temperature, humidity and chemical changes. Capture the data and save to cloud server, and after analyzing the data, the alarming messages will be sent to users. (In our plan)

How we built it

We built it based on tutorials and our own learning.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues deploying application into cloud platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We did successfully implemented the sensor with kits.

What we learned

We learned about hardware and nb-iot related things.

What's next for NB-IoT and Food

We will keep learning and implement the application later.
