This project was inspired by a fellow student campus that is fully blind and having difficulty navigating campus independently. As hearing individuals, we may often forget how daily interactions with the world varies from person to person, even interactions that may be small to us but a bit troublesome for others. Our group has developed and designed a web application that aims to provide assistance navigating through new and known locations with confidence using LiDAR, implementing audio queues alongside MapBox's open source api, while upholding accessibility guidelines.
