Inspiration
Minutes are wasted by people circling around driving to find parking slots in parking lots at work, public parkings, airport parkings etc.
We significantly reduce this time by navigating the car directly to an empty slot!!! and our company gets paid for that...
What it does
With NaviPark Mobile App a driver gets navigated to dynamically assigned vacant slot detected by standard cameras using Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms and a Mapping App.
How we built it
Deep Learning to detect existing parked cars and empty slots.
A Mobile Map App to navigate driver to the slot.
Challenges we ran into
Finding best Deep Learning Algorithm and a very good Mapping App.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
1) Idea 2) Practicality and usefulness 3) Found very good solutions for technical. Tested on real world images. 4) Got good feedback on the product and feasibility of business
What we learned
Had a fun! Learned more about high qualities of ML algorithms.
