Inspiration Our inspiration originally started after Mr.Beast started his TeamTrees project, and we realized there should be a way to organize events to plant all of these trees as a community.

What it does It is a website that enables users to participate in many different features such as hosting/signing up for tree planting events, taking trivia tests based on facts, attaining sponsorship and funding, and track the impact they are making on the environment through a carbon emissions tracker.

How we built it We started off with a basic HTML home page and hard code the entire website. Since we are novice in coding, we utilized the internet and open source code with any questions we had. We separately coded the features in Python and Java; we used embedding to attach them to our website.

Challenges we ran into: We ran into several challenges with the Google Maps API not showing/functioning on our website. We also ran into problems with variable scopes on Java for the register program.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We were able to attach the Google Maps API successfully and we were also able to attach all of the features.

What we learned: We learned how to use API's and the basics of data sciences

What's next for Nature's Guarantree: We hope to expand by adding more to our databases and using deep learning to recognize trees from user provided pictures.
