Project ZERO — Evidence Guardian

What it does

Project ZERO — Evidence Guardian checks specific AI-agent claims against fresh evidence from user-authorized NAS files. It distinguishes declarations, observed-only states, verified file-byte matches against independently trusted references, contradictions, and unknown outcomes. The result is a scoped handoff dossier that helps the next agent avoid trusting stale or unsupported completion claims.

UGREEN AI NAS Skill

A newly authored Markdown Uliya orchestration Skill delegates file existence, metadata and SHA-256 checks to file-agent, document reconciliation to document-agent, and evidence gathering or approval-gated dossier saving to knowledge-agent. The workflow is read-first, bounded to an explicitly authorized folder, and does not modify source files.

Build and test status

The official UGREEN Skill static checker (capability catalog 2.0.0) reports static-pass, zero errors and zero warnings. A separate, offline Python research prototype passed 26 local tests, including checks for declared write, copy, rename and delete postconditions. That Python prototype is not included in the Uliya Skill package and has not been executed on UGREEN NAS. Real Uliya runtime integration, model routing and permission behavior remain to be tested.

Limits and originality

A matching digest verifies observed bytes, not which agent acted, whether an external API operation succeeded, or when an operation occurred. The local hash chain is not a cryptographically authenticated identity or tamper-proof service. Cryptographic agent receipts and hash chains have precedents (AER-1 and AgentLedger); ZERO's proposed differentiation is fresh, scope-limited evidence reconciliation and safer multi-agent handoff.

Disclosure

Developed for the 2026 UGREEN AI NAS Hackathon using the official UGREEN Skill Developer Package and capability catalog. OpenAI ChatGPT (GPT-6) assisted with architecture, Markdown drafting, test design and verification. TE7E Tunnel MCP was used only for authorized development-server access, not as a Uliya runtime dependency. No external runtime binaries or credentials are bundled in the Skill ZIP.
