Inspiration
-We wanted to make a minimalistic, text-based game that wasn't boring. We thought it could be fun to create.
What it does
-A terminal text-based game that takes choices, skill, and random chance into account. Upon finding Narnia, you must go upon a quest (or not) to save your friend, Mr. Tumnus.
How we built it
-We used some pretty basic Java programming, and just thought about what we could do with only the Terminal as the GUI.
Challenges we ran into
-Putting together code from several different sources was difficult. Also, because there are so many possibilities, we had to do a lot of testing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
-Creating something. This is all of our first Hackathon and we're just proud to have created something.
What we learned
-How much we could really do with simpler things if we put our minds to it, the power of team work, and some pretty cool Java tricks.
What's next for Narnia
-We hope to possibly add more minigames at some point.
