Inspiration

We conducted a survey on women’s issues, and one girl wrote that due to period pain and the lack of proper guidance, she often had to miss school and faced many other challenges. At the end of her response, she wrote a line that deeply moved us: “I feel like every month I lose a piece of my future.” That one sentence stayed with us — it motivated and inspired us, and made us realize just how important it is to take action. That’s when we decided to build NariCare. Millions of women, especially in rural India, lack accessible, culturally sensitive healthcare. Major gaps exist in menstrual, mental, and emergency support. Inspired to build an all-in-one AI-powered ecosystem that ensures safety, wellness, and inclusivity for women.

What it does

Smart women’s health companion app that covers physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Features: Period, fertility & PCOS tracking Pregnancy & baby growth tracker AI-powered mental health chatbot 24×7 gynecologist video consultations SOS button with live safety tracking Nutrition & medicine reminders Voice and regional language support Online medical store & family login

How we built it

Designed as an AI-powered, multilingual mobile app using modern, scalable architecture. Integrated voice interaction and regional language modules for inclusivity. Combined APIs for teleconsultation, SOS live tracking, and mental health chatbot. Focused on intuitive, minimal UI/UX for low-literacy and first-time smartphone users.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating multiple complex features within one cohesive app. Ensuring medical accuracy and privacy in health data management. Implementing natural voice and multi-language support effectively. Balancing accessibility with user security and reliability.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Developed a functional prototype with live tracking, chatbot, and healthcare modules. 1st Runner-Up at Entrepreneurship Hackathon, Techniche 2025 (IIT Guwahati × STPI). 1st Prize Winner at NSS Ideathon, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.

What we learned

Empathy-driven technology can bridge healthcare accessibility gaps. Designing for diverse literacy and language levels needs deep user understanding. Women’s healthcare solutions must address medical, emotional, and social dimensions together. Collaboration between AI, healthcare, and human touch is key for trust.

What's next for NariCare

Launch pilot testing in rural districts via NGO partnerships. Expand to 12+ regional languages for national reach. Integrate with wearables for real-time health monitoring. Collaborate with government health programs and women-focused startups for scale and impact.
