Inspiration:
I’m building solo, so I wanted a project that’s simple, funny, and ironic—but still sharp enough to be useful. Elon Musk, Twitter, and online egomania sparked the idea: “What if you could measure narcissism in tweets?”
What it does:
You paste a tweet into the app. It analyzes the text and returns: A narcissism score in % A short snarky message All done right in the browser—fast, no nonsense.
How we built it:
With a single prompt using Bolt.new’s one-shot generator. I didn’t add features, didn’t redesign. It’s a pure one-shot build, start to finish. Minimalist frontend, simple sentiment logic, and that’s it.
Challenges we ran into:
Making the output funny but readable
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
It actually works
I didn’t overbuild it
I resisted the temptation to add a dark mode and user accounts
What we learned:
Creativity under constraints is fun
What's next for Narcissism Tweet Detector Webapp:
Add “Musk mode” to auto-analyze his tweets
Let people track their narcissism over time
Maybe turn it into a browser extension or Twitter/X bot
Or just let it live as a little internet joke that went too far
