Each year, about 100,000 police-reported crashes are caused by drowsiness. NapX incorporates a number of sensors to alert users when drowsiness or cardiac problems are detected. To detect drowsiness, NapX monitors behavioral changes such as heart rate, eye movement, yawns, vehicle acceleration, and lane movement. If the symptoms exceed the predefined threshold, warnings are generated and sent to predefined contacts. NapX is made up of three detection modules as well as a dispatch module. The Heart Rate module recognizes drowsy or abnormal heart rate and calibrates users' resting heart rate. Using the front-facing camera, the Image Detection module recognizes face and eye patterns to identify whether the driver's eyes are open or closed. The Image Detection module detects yawns by monitoring the contours and face. The GPS sensor is utilized to calculate acceleration and deceleration rates. Finally, the accelerometer sensor monitors the vehicle's lane position to determine deviations. If the symptoms are recognized, alerts are generated in the form of visual and audio playback on the device, as well as an email and text message with the current location appended. NapX come in three models. Model A: which is completely conceived, created, and debugged in the Android Development Studio using the Java programming language. Model B: Which is an Integration between Arduino system and the Mobile Application. Model C: which is a completely DMS. The application was validated for full functionality before being deployed and documented. NapX is a cost-effective, integrated system for detecting drowsiness and heart problems.
