Nanorobotic applications in healthcare
What it does
Eliminates renal cell carcinoma cells within the body by releasing monoclonal antibodies and interferon alfa-2a proteins
How we built it
With the use of various coding platforms and intensively delving into cancer research, we created our idea and our products. We also used 3D modelling and engineering to create a nanorobot.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into quite a few challenges, especially with coding. As none of us have expertise in coding a nanorobot, we had to teach ourselves quite a few things. Though, luckily, our intermediate skills came in handy.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finally being able to code a great portion of the robot was something we are quite proud of. Furthermore, creating the model of the prototype of the NanoDOP was also quite rewarding.
What we learned
As mentioned, we learned a significantly large amount of content regarding robotics.
What's next for NanoDOP
We are thinking of pursuing this project and making NanoDOP more successful by implementing the ideas mentioned in the video. In the near future, we would like to make a functional NanoDOP and extending our code.
