Inspiration

The inspirations comes largely from the web3 movement. Watching the space and thinking about the technologies and their applications is exciting and there is nothing id rather be doing. The inspiratation behind mintagram dereives from this.

What it does

Mintagram is simple at essence but does alot. When thinking about Mintagram we should think of it as if instagram and opensea and a child. On Mintagram users go through the typical experience one would on instagram except users mint their images and own and control their data. On top of this Mintagram is a DAC. The only benafactors of using the Mintagram protocol are the users. With network fees being pooled and distributed randomly to users, to governance protocols to facilitate non ownership of the contract.

How we built it

We are building Mintagram using Typescript react and Brownie for managing our contract development.

Challenges we ran into

New to block chain and development in general. Using Ts for the first time and learning solidity, eips, chainlink, moralis, etc was a lot to take in and be timely.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The entire project. This was my first personal project so it's special.

What we learned

A lot about solidity and contract development. Also upped my scripting game in the proccess and picked up a new sdk and got better with react.

What's next for Mintagram

After ironing out the current code base we will be looking at refactoring into a an upgadable pattern and introducing governance. From there on we can go into beta and and eventually wild. We have list of features we will be adding as well. Making Mintagram your one stop shop for experiencing and managing your nft's either alone or with others.
