How we built it
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we faced was in consuming the payment apis, which some of the times returns an error. Api's like withdrawal to local bank (which throws a insufficient balance reponse with the a pocketId, but withdraws behind the scene). Also the money doesnt reflect on my local bank
Transfers not reflecting on the customers wallets(sometimes)

Building a project that can contribute her quota to solving the aforementioned challenges.

What's next for Nama-Hackathon
We hope to get the seed funding and then we can settle properly to build and expand to other African countries with good business policies, and also help the people of Africa to sole this challenge.
NAMA – HACKATHON PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Nama is an agrotech project that looks forward to addressing food security challenges in Nigeria and possibly Africa by mediating exchange between our users and also providing efficient and quick response logistics for product delivery in order to prevent food wastage. With the help of SEERBIT payment system(pockets), we will be able to move funds from one end user to another.
How Nama works: We basically have four roles for this project (a) Customer (b) Farmer (c) Courier (d) Administrator
FARMER’S FUNCTIONS: • The farmer signs up and creates business profile which is then verified from our end. • Creates pocket wallet (seerbit) • Upload agro products with detailed infomations about the products
CUSTOMER FUNCTIONS: • A customer signs up • Creates pocket wallet (seerbit) • Funds account • Goes to product page and create an order (by adding order items) to cart and pay using seerbit (customers to Nama’s pocket).
COURIER FUNCTIONS: • A courier signs up and creates a pocket wallet (seerbit) • Picks an order assigned to the courier, confirms all orders and order items for a particular customer, by entering a one time password(OTP) sent to the farmer ( from Nama ) for each order item. • Delivers and confirms delivery to the customer by entering a one time password(OTP) sent to the customer.
ADMINISTRATOR FUNCTION: • For every order item belonging to a farmer that is was successfully picked, Nama disburses funds to the farmers pocket wallet (after an agreed 15% charge from Nama) using (seerbit). This funds can be withdrawn to their local banks (seerbit). • For every successful delivery, Nama administrator diburses funds to the courier pocket wallet (seerbit, Nama to courier).This funds can be withdrawn to their local banks (seerbit).
BUSINESS ECONOMICS: For every successful transaction fro the user, Nama will take 15% of every successful transaction.
