Agriculture in Nigeria is currently facing some major challenges. one of them being food security. One of the major causes of of food insecurity in Nigeria is the problem of low technologies in the process of production and distribution of agricultural products. The use of modern technologies in the production and distribution of agricultural products is very low in Nigeria so the sector depended more on manual labour for farm activities. This is because of lack of innovation for local technology, particularly as it relates to mechanization of agriculture to improve productivity. We also have the issue of gender inequality, women are not given as much access to agricultural facilities as men. This problems place a substantial burden on our society through health care and social costs. People who experience food insecurity often consume a nutrient-poor diet, which may contribute may contribute to the development of obesity, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. Our solution is needed to help avert the menace food insecurity can cause. Our proffered solution is to develop a website that provides social networking for farmers men and women alike, a marketplace for farmers and consumers, accessible education for farmers on technological strategies to adopt to improve farming strategies and farm produce delivery and accessibility. our stack include Html5, css and js(java script).
