Inspiration

My class is just too boring, but i can't go on and attend exams as if it were a piece of cake :P

What it does

Our webapp transcribes whatever is happening in the surroundings and transcribes the information. All these are stored in text notes that we can read from later

How we built it

We used a python flask program that uses pydub, ffmpeg and speech recog apis that takes in the data through audio input and processes it into text.

Challenges we ran into

ffmpeg poses a challenge everytime we try to encode and it took up quite some time to resolve all issues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the fact that the app is versatile and can be used under various real life scenarios

What we learned

We've learnt that it's not that difficult at classes anymore, on a serious note, flask and webapps are a great way to serve content and the fact that we could do such an application within the deadline says this hackathon biz is interesting (we're first timers)
