Inspiration
NadiApp was inspired by one of our teammate's uncles, who works as an event organizer for one of Indonesia's healthcare events. Through his experience organizing these events, he noticed a major problem: many heart disease patients in Indonesia are brought to the hospital too late, reducing their chances of receiving timely treatment.
That's why we chose to tackle this problem with NadiApp. Our mission is to reduce delays in emergency response by helping users detect heart-related emergencies early, connect with emergency services faster, and increase the chances of saving lives.
What it does
NadiApp is a digital health platform designed to detect potential heart emergencies provide immediate guidance connect users with emergency services and store essential medical information

How we built it
We started by identifying the real-world problem we wanted to solve and defining NadiApp's core concept as a cardiac emergency response platform. Then we developed the mobile application's frontend and backend while simultaneously building the Hospital Dashboard. After completing the core features, we integrated the mobile app, backend, and dashboard into a single system.
Challenges we ran into
During development, we faced several challenges. Some team members had to relearn Flutter after not using it for a while, while another member was working with Laravel for the first time. We also dealt with limited storage space on our devices, tight time constraints, and laptop hardware issues that occasionally slowed down our progress. Despite these obstacles, we collaborated closely and successfully completed our MVP.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we successfully built a full-stack platform with a Flutter frontend and a Laravel backend in just one day and one night. This was also our first time integrating APIs into a real project, and one of our teammates learned and used Laravel for the first time. Despite the steep learning curve and limited time, we managed to deliver a working MVP that connects the mobile app and hospital dashboard into one integrated emergency response system.
What we learned
Throughout this hackathon, we learned how to manage our time effectively, collaborate on a real-world software project, and stay focused on a single mission despite many distractions. We also gained valuable hands-on experience in full-stack development, API integration, and turning an idea into a working product under a tight deadline. Most importantly, we learned that teamwork, persistence, and continuous learning can overcome technical challenges.
What's next for NadiApp
Our next goal is to expand NadiApp into a nationwide emergency response ecosystem. We plan to integrate it with hospital information systems and government healthcare platforms, develop dedicated dashboards for family members and ambulance teams, and enhance our AI to provide more accurate emergency assessments and personalized first-aid guidance. Our vision is to make NadiApp a connected platform that enables faster, smarter, and more coordinated emergency care across Indonesia.
