What it does
Nacho's executive assistants and specialists log client hours in the Nacho app, and the team manages Clients, Talent, projects and rates in one place. It replaced Harvest, and a client billing portal is in progress where clients review hours and pay.
How I built it
Built by a non-engineer CEO and a small team using Claude Code, Cursor and Lovable. The stack is Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, the Slack API, Sentry and Vercel.
It also exposes its own MCP server, so the team can query the app straight from Claude.
What I learned
Replacing a SaaS tool you pay for is more work than it looks.
