Inspiration

We were heavily inspired by our theme, global community. We therefore wanted to connect people together. Also, we saw bugs around, so we decided to code with web scraping.

What it does

This is supposed to be a website that shows a 3D globe, on mouse hover, the nation's information and relevant news, including brief summaries generated by OpenAI ChatGPT is embedded.

How we built it

We use HTML, CSS, JS, React, Tailwind, Three.js, Puppeteer and so on.

Challenges we ran into

We weren't able to actually produce a functional 3D global map.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We stayed up all night, worked 24 hours straight.

What we learned

We learned team working, and also a bunch of technical knowledges.
