Inspiration

Access to financing for sustainable projects has been taking shape and has become more popular, but even so, the number of funds and the types of interested investors have few options, in addition, not all projects successfully achieve their financing rounds. That is why enabling a platform where you can see in detail the types of projects (with all the data), will allow anyone, through the Hedera network, to be able to buy tokens, finance, and participate in the projects.

What it does

EmiCerti is the Initial Coin Offering for ReFi, built with C# and HelloSign for Hedera Hashgraph Network. What you can currently do in the web app is:

  • Create Hedera test accounts to test the purchase and sending of tokens.
  • Create projects (which store their information in the database) and create the token in the Hedera network, associated with the Hedera account that governs your application specified in the configuration.
  • See available projects, buy tokens, and see the latest transactions.
  • Being able to send the HBARs obtained to the account associated with the project (this URL does not appear directly in the graphical interface, you must access the "Admin" module).

How we built it

Everything was built using C#, with Visual Studio as the development IDE. It was also implemented with a SQL Server database to store some project data off-chain. The tests were done locally and in some cases with Microsoft Azure.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I managed to create this project in a very short time, taking advantage of my experience in C# and my motivation to use blockchain from Hedera.

What we learned

I learned a lot about ReFi and sustainable projects, how they work, and the data they use. It also works on the Hedera network with the C# libraries.

What's next for EmiCerti

Improve the version and manage to turn it into a real project to finance sustainable initiatives.
