Inspiration

Cashless payment system in Japan.

What it does

It eliminates the need of carrying cash or cards and replacing it with the fingerprint of the pilgrim. and it helps with finding missing pilgrims by looking up their transactions locations and other information.

How we built it

By creating a database that hold the pilgrim's information, fingerprint and his current credit in the system.

Challenges we ran into

We couldn't find a fingerprint device within our budget and we didn't have access to Hajj fingerprints. so we replacing that with image matching algorithm.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a service that helps pilgrims of all ages and wither they have a smartphone or not to use it.

What we learned

We learned how to make an image matching algorithm.

What's next for N-04-Fingerprint_Payment_System

Making this project a realty and making use of it not only in Hajj but in every service in Saudi Arabia in the future.
