Inspiration

What it does

Smart Hajj platform is designed to serve the Hajj people in the Hajj event according to many defined needs. The main target of the app makes the hardest process to be done in a few steps. Also, we are target to create a chatbot to be a personal assistant to the Hajj and we are target to manage the crowd problem by guiding him/her to the best route to take during the all Hajj process.

How we built it

We used dialog flow as our AI platform for detecting the intent and entities from the text entered by the hajj. Then we used node js as the backend to handle the requests and get the answers from the dialog flow. We used google maps api to implement crowd management services. We are aiming to develop our own NLP engine to train the data based on the data we will collect to be personalized to each dialect. Then we are ambitious to enter speech in our services. We used mongo db as our database.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge in any NLP Arabic problem is the availability of data and dialect data. We started with building our AI engine based on MSA not any dialect.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have shared our experience together to think about the idea and work together for the first time in a few hours as a team.

What we learned

We have learned more about the Hajj process and new information about the business plan from the mentors and the talks. Also, we got a new dataset about the Hajj it was very helpful to our AI and chatbot developers.
