MyTutor

This project aims at developing mobile application with the aim of making it easier for parents and students to find and connect with thousands of professional and certified tutors at one place.

Inspiration

       My inspiration for this application is to provide a platform for students and teacher to connect in a way which make it easy for them to share knowledge and contribute effectively towards a prosperous society.

What it does

       This application virtually connect teachers and students and break the barriers in learning through the use of modern technology.

How I built it

     I have built this application using Flutter. Firebase and google map API has been used in the development of different functionalities the application provide.

Challenges I ran into

   Maintaining the compatibility of different packages is a tedious job. Moreover, the breaking changes create the burden of rework which is really challenging.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

  I'm proud that in a small span of time I have learnt flutter and now I am developing my own final year project in flutter. Moreover, I have utilized the google map API and explored Firebase in a very easy and productive way through flutter.

What I learned

   I have learnt cross platform application development with flutter. Furthermore, I have explored other google products productively because of flutter.

What's next for MyTutor

   MyTutor will be launched as a startup in near future
