Problem

Shoppers need a more personalized way to discover clothing and accessories that fit their style preferences, budget, size, occasion, season, and local climate. Outfit inspiration alone does not establish which products are actually available to buy. Fashion discovery and skincare discovery can also require separate tools and workflows.

Solution

myStyle is a personal-styling concierge that combines profile-based fashion recommendations, facial colour-tone analysis, skin-health analysis, virtual try-on, a private digital closet, and shopping links in one experience. It uses a consented selfie to initiate both facial colour-tone and skin-health analysis, helping connect styling insights with clothing, accessory, and skincare discovery.

Key Features

  • Personalized fashion recommendations: Ranks outfit inspiration using the user's style, occasion, palette, fit, size, budget, season, climate, and feedback.
  • Curated fashion catalogue: It start with photo references covering men's, women's, gender-neutral clothing, and accessories. So you don't need to start from scratch
  • Facial colour-tone analysis: Uses Perfect Corp.'s YouCam API to identify colour cues that can inform clothing and accessory recommendations.
  • Skin-health analysis and skincare discovery: Uses YouCam Skin Analysis v2.1 to request cosmetic indicators such as moisture, oiliness, redness, pores, acne, radiance, and texture. These indicators help rank general skincare product categories; they are not a medical diagnosis.
  • Virtual try-on: Allows users to try supported clothing and accessories using YouCam, with explicit consent.
  • My closet: Lets users save clothing, accessories, and skincare products with photos and details.
  • Shopping links: Connects users to country-specific Google Shopping searches, Amazon Canada, and relevant skincare retailer searches. Can be updated for a larger audience if needed
  • Privacy: Keeps saved profile details, photos, preferences, and closet items in a secure fashion.
  • Accessibility - first: The app is accessibility first by including responsive layouts, light and dark themes, adjustable text sizes, keyboard-focus styling, and reduced-motion support.

Next steps
