Inspiration

When thinking about daily friction we face, we landed on the simple but sometimes time-consuming questions of: "What should I wear today?" or "What should I pack for my upcoming trip?". We often check the weather or ask a friend for advice. Now, we have Myra, your personal fashion stylist that's just a text away! It recommends outfits to the user, seamlessly weaving in the weather forecast with the user's plans for the day or itinerary for an upcoming trip and the user's style preferences.

What it does

  • Plan outfits based on the user’s itinerary.
  • Adjust outfits based on user's request, e.g. itinerary changes, style preferences, and wardrobe constraints.
  • Use Open-Meteo API to generate weather-appropriate outfits.

How we built it

  • Photon iMessaging agent to communicate with the user.
  • Creao “Fashion Stylist” agent to parse user's request from Photon agent, pull weather forecast, and synthesize generated outfits.
  • Cognition’s Devin to build the connection between the Photon and Creao agents.
  • Railway to host the server and database.
  • PostgreSQL database to store user data and past messaging history.
  • Typescript

Challenges we ran into

  • Familiarizing ourselves with new technology and integrating them together.
  • Long wait time between user message and agent's response.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Trying new technology!
  • Bringing our idea to life.

What we learned

  • The capabilities and limitations of AI tools.
  • How to build AI agents using Creao.
  • How to integrate AI agents into our workflow.

What's next for Myra

  • Pull itineraries and plans from group chats, emails, calendars, etc.
  • Users can send reviews of Myra’s suggested outfits, e.g. what they actually wore, whether it suited the weather, so that Myra can learn for future outfits.
  • Enable Myra to process image input for outfit inspiration and styling.
  • Expand to other messaging platforms (e.g. WhatsApp, SMS).
  • Mobile application to display user’s past itineraries, digital closet, and dream wardrobe with a public interface to share and shop outfits.
