Inspiration
Classical learning techniques are becoming more and more boarding for students and not aligned with the 21st Century needs. Teaching by instruction lacks the motivation for students to learn, comprehend, and acquire the necessary skills. Project-based learning is an effective mean of education. Through projects, students can learn any skills independently. Through projects, we can teach students 21st Century skills such as Critical thinking, Innovation, Effective Communication, problem Solving, and Working within a Team. More over, extra skills such as enterpreureship, voluntary work, and even ethics skills can be acquired through projects, That is why we develop a platform named "MyProject" to manage students projects and achieve these learning goals.
What it does
"My Project Platform" is the first of its kind, focusing on projects as an active learning tool that improves education quality and aligns with modern learning methods. The platform includes a project bank in STEM fields, entrepreneurship, volunteering, values, and ethics. It also provides tools for tracking, managing, and evaluating projects, along with a marketplace for project tools, team chat, project file uploads, a virtual project gallery, an AI-powered project assistant for students, consulting services, intellectual property support, and educational resources related to project management. The platform supports multi-language and serves all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities.
How we built it
We built the platform entirely through Bolt.New. Amazingly, it took us little over a week to build the entire platform. Our experience in education and education technology helped us to effectively make use of Bolt.New to build a comprehensive and fascinating platform to help our students.
Challenges we ran into
We faced some small challenges here and there, such as Firebase Integration, but we managed to quickly learn how to overcome these challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are so proud of our work. We now have a comprehensive, integrated, user-friendly, and responsive platform that can add a substantial value to our students. and the education system.
What we learned
We quickly learned Bolt.new. Within one week, we were ready to start building our website. We upgraded to Pro as we quickly saw the benefits of bolt.new. We learned that this great tool can help us achieve our dream platform quickly, easily, and cost effectively. We learned the tools provided by bolt.new and most importantly, we learned how to communicate with it to get what want. After short time, we understood each other and we started harnessing the fruits.
What's next for MyProject Platform
We will expand MyProject Platform to include more languages in order to cover as many students as possible. We will also expand the educational contact such as the Project Ideas Bank, Educational resources, and introduce projects competitions.
