Inspiration
As a passionate developer and designer, I wanted to create a platform that showcases my skills, projects, and creativity in one place. My portfolio reflects my journey in tech, the challenges I've overcome, and my continuous learning. It’s also a space where potential employers or collaborators can learn more about me and my work.
What it does
My portfolio website presents an overview of who I am, my skills, my projects, education, achievements, and how to contact me. It has a clean, responsive design and user-friendly interface. Visitors can explore my work, read descriptions of my projects, and view them live or on GitHub.
How we built it
I built this portfolio using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. For responsive design, I used Flexbox and media queries. I also integrated animations for a smooth user experience using CSS transitions and JavaScript. GitHub was used for version control and deployment was done using GitHub Pages / Netlify.
Challenges we ran into
One of the challenges was creating a layout that looks good on both desktop and mobile screens. Another challenge was organizing my projects and content in a way that is clear and engaging. I also spent time optimizing loading speed and making sure all external links work properly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm proud that I created the entire website from scratch and customized it completely. It truly reflects my personality and style. I also learned how to debug layout issues and improve responsiveness, which was a big win for me.
What we learned
I learned the importance of planning before designing a site. I gained deeper knowledge of CSS styling, animations, responsive design techniques, and better folder structuring for a real-world project. I also improved my Git skills through this project.
What's next for myportfolio
Next, I want to add a blog section where I can share what I learn. I also plan to connect a backend to allow visitors to send messages directly. In the future, I might integrate dark mode, project filters, and animations using GSAP or Framer Motion.
