Largely inspired by the VLC Player functionality of Myo, our app allows the user to not only control simple functions as volume and track number but also mix on the fly, adding beats and filters to the song in real time. Our target user ranges from the average music lover to a professional DJ looking for new ways of attracting fame.
Our program employs an easy to use user interface that flows in an intuitive way. With certain Myo gestures and movements functions can be controlled remotely, away from the keyboard. This is convenient for someone looking to move around while mixing music, and looking cool at the same time.
