Objective:

Target User : People with disability in the lower abdomen but still have viable arm muscles.

Inspiration : Wheelchair controlled by EEG signals

Description of components and how it works :

  1. Arduino Uno - receives position vectors and rotation matrix information from the Myo arm band and then translating it into DC motor commands
  2. DC Motor - which can be connected to a wheelchair mechanism
  3. Myo armband by Thalmic Labs - relays EMG signals from muscle contractions corresponding to preset gestures that can be programmed to move the motor (on/off, change speed) that is translated into position vectors and rotation matrix
