We set out to build a way to track your entire workout--start to finish. We wrote signal processing algorithms to both detect distinct exercises and give feedback on them. For example, if I start doing curls, the software recognizes each curl, counts them, and gives feedback such as "slow down", "don't jerk the weight", and "try to stabilize your arm"
By having a web application and zero need to touch any settings, we believe this setup will empower more people to get the most out of their training. The Myo sensors give you the ability to take a trainer with you to any gym, anytime, anywhere.
As a proof of concept we wrote profiles for curl and punch and our software counts both individually.
