Inspiration

Mental Health issues affecting 1 in 5 Canadians yearly.

What does it do?

Our app is designed to help pair the most vulnerable people (students and young adults) with other people suffering through similar emotions and get them the help they need especially during COVID

What we used?

We used React JS, CSS, HTML + Bootstrap paired with Firebase

Challenges

Since, each of our team members was new to Bootstrap, Firebase, and React JS, we had to watch tutorials and learn to divide up the work and put it together at the end.

What we're proud of

We are proud that we learnt a new skill and in the future will look on building upon it and adding to the Mynd apps.

What we learnt

We learnt the basics of React and how to implement databases like Firebase into it.

What's next

Next, we plan to make the other 2 components of the Mynd suite - Mynd Vibes and Re-Mynd to complete the prototype set before focusing on our mobile development endeavours.
