Inspiration-- We were originally inspired to build this project after coming to an agreement that the current colors/style of Google Maps are so ugly. Like, what the frick yo? What it does-- Our project, essentially, uses pre-drawn images to add more color and design to the Google Maps 'world'. Themes' images will be used as a destination pin, symbols for buildings, one's character, etc. How we built it-- We built it using Goolge Maps API and Vite mainly. Challenges we ran into-- Some challenges we ran into include finding images to replace the pre-existing ones and discovering possible themes/settings. Accomplishments that we're proud of-- We are most proud of our ability to really use this app realistically, as it is often difficult to run projects mobily. What we learned-- We learned how to use other Google API tools. What's next for MyMystiMap-- Next for MyMystiMap, we plan on adding more themes and the ability for users to import their own images.
