Inspiration
Our idea came from Annie's little brother who was wondering: "What if I could take a picture of anything and turn it into an emoji?". We decided to make it happen!
What it does
Our app let's the user either take or upload an image, and detects the edges of the object depicted. It then removes everything outside of the borders, allowing the user to create a sticker.
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Our idea seemed much simpler in theory than in practice. We started out trying to build an android app that allows the final emoji to be embedded in the text, but realized that this wasn't possible across different platforms.
