Inspiration

We were inspired by the idea of journaling, of keeping track of one's experiences and interesting events in life to look upon later. We wanted to build an app that connected the idea of recording these experiences through how far a person travels. The miles and locations an individual journeys through all tell a unique story.

What it does

The app allows the user to create journal entries detailing what odometer mile they are on and the location where they reached that mile, as well as why they were travelling at that time and any other thoughts they may have.

How we built it

We used ionic components to build the UI.

Challenges we ran into

It was challenging to design a UI that would be simple yet pleasing and convey the idea of a journey. Coming up with a good name was also difficult!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have gotten a lot more familiar with the ionic framework.
