MyFridge

Inspiration

As busy university students, we've always had trouble keeping track of what food we have in the fridge. To avoid food waste as the expiration date of each food may be different and to avoid typing all of the names of the food, we've created MyFridge to take pictures of the food when we put them in the fridge.

What it does

MyFridge displays cartoon images of the food pictures and tracks them.

How we built it

We built this Android app using Java and trained the Google Cloud AutoML Vision machine learning model with our food pictures with an accuracy of 92%.
